another question any mommy's have 8 to 9 lbs babys at birth what size clothes did they wear?

my son was 8'4 and he could wear newborn for a while but he was skinny and long. we were moving him up in clothes just because they wouldn't snap because he was so long. I think it'll depend more on if your child is chunky or not.

@nerdmamatn, im just trying to find out what size clothes to buy more of. my man was 9.1 and she is already measuring large so i dont wanna buy to many newborn if they aren't going to fit

i was 8'14 and my mom said i mostly wore 0-3 months! plus if you look on carters sizes, it says newborn is 5 to 8 i believe. my baby is measuring a little smaller but im still mostly going to buy 0-3 months:)

true. I'm almost having the same problem with mine. the good thing is, just don't buy too many newborns, head for the 0-3 months. they'll be smaller and yet big enough for her to grow into.

I had an almost 9 pounder and she wore newborns but some 0-3 also fit. My baby has a short torso and long limbs though or she would have only fit 0-3. Her legs barely fit in the newborns but because her torso was short she fit in them.

mine was 9.5 pounds she fit into 0-3 her feet was a little big for feet pjso for those I had her in 3-6 now majority of her clothes are 3-6 and pjs are 6-9

Sadie was 8lns 8.5 ozs 21.5 inches and we had her in 0 to 3. nb was a little snug I mean I had a few outfits I had her wear but pants were to tight for my liking
