It's a test to check for bacteria. I am positive for it but they give you antibiotics before you deliver the baby so you won't transfer it to her/him. They cotton swab you vaginally and anally and send it off for testing.
i got mines today . its a bacteria that can harm baby if he/she gets it passed to him/her they give you meds through an IV if you test positive to prevent you from passing it to baby.

It just happens when you're pregnant. Sometimes women get it just because, and sometimes women don't get it. It just kinda happens.
