So how has everyone gone about picking god parents? Would it be weird for me to pick a friend and my brother and my husband to have his brother and his wife? Can you have 4 god parents? I don't really know how that works

U can have two sets my brother did that with his daughter idk how to legally do it that way tho. I have "godparents " for my son but there no documents for it yet

I would ask your pastor if you can have 2 sets. My first child has my brother and my husbands sister...and this time around I'm at a loss :/ lol. So maybe do one set for this child and wait for the second to have the other two?

You can have 4. I'd choose one couple that I see can teach my child commitment and instability. And two singles that will teach my child something about life. To me the godparents are the extended coparents

my baby's god parents are my two best friends and then my boyfriends best friend. 2 god mothers and a god father. I think it's just personal preference. it's your child, it's your choice (:
