Trying to think of a gift to give our girls at our shower this weekend..... something baby related…

A special baby doll to practice holding and caring for?

I thought about that for my 2yo but the older girls will get bored with that quick....

Every day teach a different skill. One day, diapering. One day, swaddling. One day, feeding. They won't be doing these things frequently with the new baby but it will help them understand how much babies need. Engage with them, and make a very big deal about the dolls @caseclosed2015

Make them their own little diaper bag. Throw a couple diapers in there, a thing of wipes, a bib, bottle, and a baby doll.

That's a good idea.... I think I will get a doll.... and a few books that they could read to him as well.... they are beginner readers and love to read aloud... @tayek

@febbaby1416 oh I love this idea they'll feel like little mommies.

My daughter is 9 & we're doing the doll thing too. She's already excited to read to her little sister at night, and her special job will be to talk to the baby and tell her about her day. @caseclosed2015 We got the idea from our daughter, actually! =)
