Ugh what do you ladies do to prevent your babies from hitting their heads/hurting themselves once they become mobile? Emma has hit her head twice in the past few days from falling and hitting the floor. The one tonight she pulled herself up on the couch to stand and let go too soon and hit her head, I was right there with her and watching her but I couldn't catch her in time :( I feel like such a bad mom cause it's already happened twice! The other time she rolled off the bed...

Nothing you can do sadly, I mean you can hover them every single second but that's not realistic. Toddlers and babies will fall and hit their head. My daughter is clumsy she trips over self daily she's got bruised knees often

@ashbabash18, it happens, some toddlers more than others. Don't beat yourself up over it. The head and the hardest part of their little bodies, especially the forehead. Sometimes my 3 year old still falls off the bed! Just kiss their boo boos and move on, their still trying to control their motor skills..

@cuety83, @2novbabies she just makes me so nervous because she's so reckless. As soon as she started crawling, she thought she could start walking and she isn't cautious about anything at all. She pulls herself up using the couch then tries to take off walking without holding on anymore (she just started pulling herself up to a stand today) I just don't want her to get a concussion or something from hitting her head so much

My daughter when she started crawling slammed her forehead into our tile floor, we both cried. Kids are tough, she had a bruise that was it.
