I'd wait and stay home as long as possible, simply because when you get there if you aren't going "fast" enough they'll give you pitocin and all that to speed up labor and it makes your contractions hit harder and faster, which isn't fun. Just wait it out as long as you can go. plus less of a hospital stay too. I wish I would have waited just a little longer at home.
