Went to the hospital last night straight from my primary care physician. Low bp, low oxygen and high pulse. Hospital said those are often symptoms of a blood clot in the lungs so they sent me for a cat scan after ruling out whatever else it could have been. It was scary. The radiation is dangerous but my husband and I agreed it would be worse if I died. The hospital was very careful and triple layered me with lead vests. The scan came back negative, thankfully. They treated me with a nebulizer which made my oxygen levels drop from 97 to 94%. Scared the life out of me so they gave me Prednisone and within 20 minutes to a half hour I felt relief in my chest. I think I had the beginning stages of bronchitis and they couldn't tell because it's so early. I don't feel 100% but I feel well enough to help my husband pack to move. Before I couldn't make it to the toilet 15 steps away without passing out from exhaustion and not being able to catch my breath. I'm so relieved. I hope our little Emma doesn't have any affects from the radiation.
@calliesmom, thank you. My mind is a little more at rest. Every move she makes gives me a little more hope that I didn't hurt her. :-)
@bengsmom10, at the time I did the same thing! glad your feeling better!!
