Yes what @whitney said! Mine has dilated kidneys and although they say that it could be a marker for Down syndrome it's very unlikely! They say it's very common in boys!

@haybearsmomma, Actually my High Risk Specialist said it's no longer a risk for DS because it's so common! Yay

@preggie_usa, can you post and ask if anyone has any experience or advice with the growth issues? intrauterine growth restrictions or asymmetric growth? I'm so scared. I'm freaking out!

@preggie_usa, okay ty so much and no that's all I really know that they are going to be scheduling me an appointment with a high risk specialist because of kidney dilation and also asymmetric growth... intrauterine growth restrictions. I don't know how to feel or what to think the Dr just says don't stress but it's easy for them to say it's not their baby. I just so badly want my son to be born healthy. if anyone has any experience or advice or stories or anything I'd really appreciate hearing it.

Hi there I was diagnosed with IGUR at my 20 week ultrasound as well as marginal cord insertion and a two lobe placenta . I ended up delivering early because of preeclampsia and because of the other issues they decided to take him at 32 weeks gestation . He was small born at 3lbs 7 oz went down to 2lbs 10 oz . We spent 45 days in the NICU and have been home for a little over a month . He will be 3 months on the 6th of November and he currently weighs 8lbs 3 oz . He is still small but perfectly healthy no issues at all and he will catch up eventually ! Try to stay positive I know it's hard but keep your head up and if you need to talk I'm here @bsummers

my son was growth restricted as well.

1st I'm so very glad he's okay And you too. I don't understand alot of this (this is my 3rd pregnancy and my 1st 2 were perfectly normal ) I'm just so scared. I don't care what happens to me I just want my son to be born happy & HEALTHY. I'm Absolutely terrified. have u heard of the asymmetric growth? how far along were u when they noticed something wasn't right? I don't know what to do or what to expect. I'm like this giant bundle of fear and emotion.... @mommyofmisters
