baby wont let me take my breast out of his mouth. he is usually a really good sleeper. hasnt done this since he was 2 and 3 weeks old. :( my nipples are so sore. he has been on for almost 4 hrs. every time i take it out he wakes up 3 mins later.

Try sticking your pinky in his mouth? My son used to comfort nurse for hours on end and he never wanted the pacifier over the boob. So one day I stuck my pinky in his mouth and I guess he thought it was the boob lmao so that way I at least got to sleep somewhat comfortably since he wasn't latched on. It became a thing for us! I think it was just the skin on skin feeling that he was wanting.

he stopped taking his pacifier a few days ago, he never liked to sleep with it anyway just till he fell asleep. I am sure he was comfort sucking cuz he was just fussy when i took it out not hungry crying. i will try the pinky next time! we finally got to sleep at about 3ish. thanks for the input mamas! @queendavis @steph11 @2novbabies @pregomego
