does getting your membranes stripped painful? did anyone's water break or labor start that night???

No it doesn't hurt at all I had it done with 3 of my pregnancies and I went into labor within the 24 hrs once it was done

Contractions started be for I hit the 24 hrs from them stripping it, no my water didn't break but it didn't with non of the 4 labors lol they had to break mine last minute or it would break at the hospital when I was about 9cm
