to all my military mommies out there, how is it with a newborn on base? I move on base a month before my due date and I'm getting nervous about how it will be, being away from family and all.

I'm not a military wife but my sil and a close family friend are and they love living on base but they do say they miss there families a lot , I'd see if your mom or mil can come stay with you for a little bit

Especially if unfortunate timing and your husband has to go to the field for a few weeks after baby is born , but both my sil and family friend says there's lots of groups for military wives and they are all very close knit , do you know where y'all will be stationed. My sil is in Cali and friend is in Hawaii
