How the heck do any of you mommies get stuff done at home!? Lol I hate letting my daughter cry but she makes it impossible for me to do anything or even eat. She wants me to hold her all the time 😩
Lol! @gabrielle_d try a bigger blanket and wrap her nice and snug. Try doing it when she's nice and calm. Lol
@muvaof4, okay I can try it. She usually breaks out of her blanket if we swaddle her lol
Swaddle your baby and put her in view of you while you do things. Shower while she's sleeping. I hope that helps.
that's exactly how l feel l have to let my baby cry for a few just to take a shower.
They can see but only up to 8 inches away from their face, and only in black and white and greys. I think Ezra started tracking me and my movements at around 2 months.
@mdomke22, girl that's how I feel! Lol I'm a ftm and I get stressed out because I try to keep the house clean and everything since my husband works but it's hard when my baby doesn't wanna sleep unless she's on me. @tracynangel that honestly does make sense. When do babies start to see? I had to use my wrap for her just yesterday so I could brush my dog outside lol
First three months was like that for my baby. It's easier after that though and he's 13 weeks today. Once she can see things and reach out and touch toys, they entertain themselves more. They call the first three months the fourth trimester for a reason! I used the moby wrap and the baby bjorn all day everyday!
well that first month was really hard for me to get anything done. being a ftm I was a hot mess lol
@mdomke22, she only falls asleep in it at night. She doesn't care to be in it much during the day. It would be bad if she could see toys and stuff but she's still under a month old :/
The first three months is referred to as the "fourth trimester" they're still very dependent on YOU, your touch, your voice, your smell, they need your constant undivided attention 24/7. The first three months are pretty difficult and you basically have to zero in on them. But after that is when it starts getting simpler.
