@ivelyss215, that'll speed things up!! Did they give you something to help the pain?
@ivelyss215, they should be able to give you pain meds or even an epidural if you want one. I had my epidural 30 mins after the balloon came out.
with the ballon part last night they took it out already ... but is contraction way worse the the ballon cramping thing @twinmamma2015
@ivelyss215, they won't give you meds to help with the pain?! I'd ask! The pitocine will increase the contractions It took almost 5 hours for the balloon to pull out. I tried watching movies and stuff to pass the time but seriously ask for pain meds, they should be able to give you something
OMG @twinmamma2015 DIDENT SLEEP TILL 4 HAD SO MUCH BAD CRAMPS GOING TO MY BACK THEY SAID THEY COULDENT GIVE ME ANYTHING AN NOW THEY STARTED THE PITOCINE ...... IS IT WORSE???
@tso when they do it every 30 mins or so wiill they do that whole clamp shit an prwssure
It can be quick or take a few hours... they do offer pain meds when they tug on the balloon... My body was not wanting the boys to come but babies in our family always go longer than 40 weeks, but I'm the only one who had twins and my docs didn't want them going longer than 37-38 weeks... Once it's over, you'll forget how uncomfortable it was and once the balloon is out, it feels so much better...
They did that with me when they induced me.... it was like a cathater type thing and they blew it up to put pressure against your cervix to get it to dilate... They would slightly tug on it every 30 mins, re-tape it to my leg and increase the pictocin... they slightly pull it every 30 mins till it pulls out on its own kinda, at that point you'll be either 3cm or 4cm depending on your body.... it was the worst part of my whole labor and I was in labor for 18hrs, had some internal tears that caused some hemorrhaging.... but once the balloon was out it wasn't so bad.... @ivelyss215
