okay... so my boyfriend wants us to have a home water birth. however, his mother is freaking out because she says we need to be in a hospital. I'm torn between the two. I just need some mommy advice

What about a birthing center? Depending on the center you can still have a water birth.

It really depends on you and your babies health. If you have any type of complications you won't be able to have a home birth. If both of you are perfectly healthy then you will be able to do one. Just take precautions because if your baby is breached you will have to rush to the hospital and if anything else goes wrong as well.
