Yes u can ask about it or they automatically tell u about some options but don't be pressured like I did with my 1st.

I had the depo but didn't like it it made me gain weight like crazy along with the nova ring and the patch ugh ill never get those again but it maybe different for you so just ask your dr or the hospital

@calebsmommy, do reseach on the depo shot. look at my previous post from a couple of days ago...I posted an article about it not being good for women of color..and another preggie mama commented and said its not good for any woman.

I had the iud for 5 years before getting married last year. All of the other bc doesn't mix with my seizure meds. the iud works wonders, never got pregnant, no complications, didn't have to remember to take it, change it nothing...they teach u to do the self exam to make sure its in place and I have it checked when I visit my ob. i will get it again after my baby
