My first one is on Tuesday! I'll be 8 weeks on Thursday

basically what @mommychina said they gave me a breast exam as well though, and heard the heartbeat on the doppler, but I was 11 weeks, and I didn't get an ultrasound that day I had to schedule one for a few days after. 😊

@mommychina, I never did with my first though at my first appointment, went to the same place, different doctor, I didn't hear the heartbeat that day, nor did I get a breast exam, but I got an ultrasound that day. So it could go either way depending on how a doctor does things.

and I was 13 weeks with my first at my first appointment.

I had my first appointment at 6 weeks and 5 days since I have history of miscarriage I'm seen my doctor again in 2 for another ultrasound and again at 12 weeks just to make sure everything is ok. Good luck in your appointment hun 🙃

I had mine at 8 weeks. I was just seen by my nurse and was asked LOTS of questions about my health history and my immediate family's. Took my fiancée in the room with me cause they asked him questions about his family health too. They also gave me lots of info and pamphlets. After I had blood and pee tests done! I get to meet my actual doctor at my 10 week appt!!

I did. umm it depends on your doctor if they've already done your pregnancy test then they should do some blood work (mine did my blood work after my pegnanct test came back positive that day) and then they'll schedule you for your first prenatal appointment and an ultrasound. mine were split in two different appointmens

because of the rapid growth , they check to make sure there is no lumps or anything not normal going on within your breast @t1mom

I'm in the same boat as you I'm 15 weeks and I go to the high risk clinic at Memorial hospital, so far so good 💓

They basically took down my birth defects the reasons I'm high risk and then made me more appointments, and gave me a ultrasound.

My mom was diabetic when she was pregnant with me so I got a cupple birth defects so just make sure you watch your blood sure and don't let it get to high that was her problem

I hope it's pretty easy peasy for me on the first appt. We shall see! Never been through any of this, and my mom does not remember for her when she was pregnant hahaha @carleeann

Yeah, I might have to get a stent to increase blood flow, will see. But the high risk clinic at memorial hospital is awesome so far I have some really smart doctors it's like on bloulder street in Colorado Springs

No they can do it in my case they might have to to save the baby's life, my heart is a little handicapped but I feel fine so far
