My dr told me wait a month so there's not nipple confusion. I waited a month with my daughter and it hasn't been a problem

It can cause some difficulties as she is figuring out her sucking/drinking mechanics. Best not to confuse her.

I never had a problem breastfeeding though my daughter stopped wanting a pacifier at like 6-7 months

For some babies it causes nipple confusion, so you never know
