What mommies are not breast feeding and why? No judgement at all just feel like talking :)
Me too! The bonding is probably amazing too:) And it shouldn't hurt! They'll show you how to get baby to latch where the nipple hits between the soft and hard palate on the roof of their mouth.
It's not easy, I hear, but there's so much free support with working out difficulties!! Whether you have inverted nipples or need to boost milk supply with pumping or diet or need to start your milk coming in slightly before birth... There's all kinds of things you can do, I've read. The best part about breast feeding is that everytime your baby latches, his or her saliva is diagnosed by your breast and the right amount of hydration, fats, and carbs are administered. It changes everytime based on needs and antibodies are produced if baby presents any kind of harmful bacteria. You're like a living pharmacy!
My ob thinks it was just delayed because I had to have a c section. I guess sometimes it can make it come in later
@ashbabash18, Oh ok. I'm just trying to see what natural reasons there are instead of some one just wanting to use formula
I did not breastfeed for my first child because I had a biopsy on one of my breasts causing for me not to be a le to breastfeed but I don't believe that's the answer you're looking for
I started drying up when I returned to work so we started introducing formula while I was working on boosting my supply, but once we introduced formula we noticed a huge different in her spitting up less so we just continued after that and I quit breastfeeding
I am not due to an immune disorder. It will be safer for me and my baby to formula feed. My doctors have been telling me I won't be able to breastfeed since years before I actually got pregnant and they still remind me at every appointment I'm like "I KNOW"
