My doctor told me after 20 weeks and to avoid getting any dye on your scalp/skin and to be in a well ventilated area. And keep in mind because of the hormones, the color may not hold. I used permanent dye and it washed out within 2 washes and left my hair a weird color. And my hair has always been good with dye

My dr said as long as you don't eat the hair dye it's not unsafe lol.

Also do a strand test dirty because people's hair and skin reacts very differently while pregnant and you don't wanna end up with some fucked up hair lol.

As long as you are in a well ventilated area and the die is ammonia free you are good to go but I agree with the comment above that you should do a strand test underneath first because you hair may react differently to dye while pregnant
