So they never even went over this with me, but how do I go about cleaning my stitches?

You don't have to. Did they give you the squirt bottle to put water in? Just squirt water on them and they'll be fine. Cleaning them isn't necessary.

@queendavis, yeah they did! I just didn't know if we were suppose to start washing with soap too? do you know how long it'll take for them to heal?

Also do you have Tucks hemerrioid pads? They're awesome to put on top of your maxi pad. It helps it feel cool and fresh down there and gives you some relief!

Well I only had stitches with my first but I didn't put soap on them. In the shower and stuff I would just use water down there because soap kind of made it burn a little. Everyone is different when it comes to how long it takes for the stitches to dissolve. How many do you have? I had 3 or 4 and at 4 weeks postpartum they were all gone except for one lol it took long than the rest for some reason

Yeah, just use the squirt bottle with warm water and you can gently pat the area dry with a wash cloth. I had internal and external stitches and had one weird one also that didn't dissolve at 6 weeks pp. It was a super stitch lol.
