I agree! I breastfeed but as long as you're baby is being fed does it matter how. I hate how people look down on people who fed formula and look down on women who publicly breastfed like how can I fed my child!

People have told that to me as well and when they start lecturing me I just hear wah wah wah formula wah wah wah you know like the adults in peanuts

I don't dislike your post, but I've seen this rant a million times. From what I've noticed in past similar situations- obviously not referring to your's of course because I have no clue- is that moms were their own worst critic and wanting to defend themselves when no one was even judging them in the first place. I hope no one has belittled you over this, anyways.

... Oh, but what I do commonly see is praised and applauded for breastfeeding... So perhaps that is making some women feel judged?

I have seen it many a times. but tonight it really got to me. it's like some moms that breastfeed think moms that formula feed are stupid or are poisoning their child because it doesn't come from a human breast.@mamalamadingdong,

My philosophy is fed is best. I will say in the case of prematurity like my second born, I think breast milk is better for them since their stomachs aren't ready for food at all, but as long as a baby is taking in what it needs, why does it matter? Feed yo kids how you see best and what works for both of you!

And maybe some women do feel that way, but that doesn't make you wrong to feel the way you do either. The women that really feel that strongly aren't likely to change their mind over it either, so there's no point in trying to convince them otherwise. You just be proud of you and don't let anyone make you feel inferior!

Idk why people think it's a big deal to bf or not. Aslong as you feed your baby formula or breast milk and not something ridiculous than I don't xare

I had someone stop me at the pumpkin patch and say, "why are you feeding that baby from a bottle?". I went off. I only formula fed..never even tried breast...and you know what? THATS OKAY! It's 2015. Formula is not poison. I didn't realize I'd get so much negative attention when I choose to feed my baby formula. I mean geez, I'm feeding her! I just can't stand how people feel the need to say, "well did you even try?". Or when they just assume I stopped producing milk. I had a girl at work over hear me say that my daughter was on Enfamil while i was talking to someone else, and she butt right into our conversation and said, "did you try looking directly at your baby when you pumped? That helped me produce more." I'm like, sister, NO..I didn't even go the Breastfeeding route. Ugh. Sorry. I guess I ranted as well! Haha

We breastfed for about 3 weeks. I would've loved to keep going. But on and off mastitis was stressful and it made my supply decrease. We formula feed. My little one is 3 months and she's healthy no issues at all. And it's nice to know that there are mothers out there who don't judge.

but i totally agree i hate it. my baby is healthy and hasnt got sick once yet. im all for breastfeesing but dont knock moms down for formula feeding.
