do any of you ladies know if this can be done on a required c-section? I really want to do this for #2 but I have to have another c-section :(

I plan on delayed cord clamping as well.

If I want to do delayed cord clamping all I have to do is tell my doctor or what ??

@emmymercer, love hearing this. I'm glad I found out about delaying cord clamping... I'm surprised it's not standard practice with as many benefits as it offers.

yes! It's incredibly beneficial and if the mom and baby aren't experiencing other complications there is zero risk associated with delaying cord clamping. I'm delaying cord clamping and donating her cord blood, as well.
