I've been off work on disability since I was 11 weeks due to a high risk pregnancy and complications that were arising. I had a cerclage (stitch) placed and Everything has been going smooth Since week 16 and I'll be 21 weeks tomorrow. I'm going crazy being at home!!!!! 😱😱😱 I still have a ways to go in this pregnancy and wondering if I should ask my Dr if he feels I'm safe to try to go back to work for a bit. I work in administration in an office position so there would be no standing, lifting, etc. I never thought I'd be so sick of being home! If I stay off work on disability all this time I wont get the baby bonding time after I have the baby because I will run out of my maternity leave but I want to make sure baby arrives safe and healthy too! 😕

i wouldn't risk it. baby is more important than work. even if you are not lifting or standing theres still lots of stress and moving about. the doc knows what hes doing. and besides you are getting paid to stay home! i wish i could get more money to buy my babies things. be happy and enjoy your babycation lol , you will miss it after baby is here. no more restful sleep for months.

@mommy_thatgirl, she's absolutely correct @yahuahsdaughter cerclage is done for important reasons as you know. So bedrest is the best for you. Baby is more important. Hang in there my dear and think of the light at the end. You're half way there.

Thank you for the reminder ladies... You are right, Doc knows what he is doing and I am lucky to be getting paid while I'm off. I guess the fact that things are going good right now proves Im doing the right thing. I think I just need to find a new hobby like crochet but I need to embrace this time😊 . @nurseriri @yahuahsdaughter
