when is the right time to teach your child how to climb on and off of the bed or couch? my daughter is three weeks away from being 1years old and she wants to learn but idk how to go about teaching her she's just now learn how to walk and can only walk while holding on to things. does she need to know how to walk before she can climb? please I'm welcoming all feed back😄😘

Our bed is low to the ground and our daughter taught herself to crawl off but she was a late walker so she knew how to get down before she could walk lol

I never taught my son, he just learned on his on like the day after his first birthday lol. Seriously hold it off as long as you can because my kid now climbs on everything and I so badly miss the days when he wasn't able to lol. When it comes to getting off the couch you may want to start teaching her that soon just so she realizes how and so she won't get hurt. My advice is to never let them stand on the couch not even ONCE. I let my son stand up in the couch one freakin time and now he thinks he can do it whenever and he tries running on the couch. Toddlers are crazy!!!!!
