Bad hygiene haven't really brushed by teeth during pregnancy. Toothpaste seems to make me sick now. Everything has been normal so far in pregnancy. Should my baby be okay I haven't really thought about it till just now.; (

Gingivitis is a common ailment but easily prevented. Your dentist can help you choose gentler products. (Mine suggested kiddie toothpaste & more frequent cleanings--during pregnancy I will receive a total of 3 cleanings by my dentist versus the regular every 6 month visits.) Definitely schedule a check and try in the meantime to find a paste tbag you can stomach. I currently use Crest Kids. The bubblegum flavor is gross to me BUT it doesn't make me puke like regular adult paste.
@tayek I'm definitely getting a dental checkup now would they be able to tell if I have an infection? Also would they be able to see if it's in my bloodstream? All my blood work has been normal so far and I'm 31 weeks.

I use the kiddie toothpaste right now since mint doesn't agree. I agree with @tylersbaby30
even brushing them without toothpaste would be better than not at all. I'm not sure 😞
Be careful with that. Oral infections can get into the bloodstrwam, which would very likely affect your baby.
