rubbing alcohol works really good

Goo gone is best for adhesive but it can be very strong smelling

Goo Be Gone! Had to do something similar today.

I believe white viniger and warm water or viniger with little lemon juice and salt. just make sure you clean with a damp towel after you scrub.

Maybe paint thinner, or I know gas will if you have like a gas can for a lawn mower have your SO put some on a rag it should come right off

wd40 should help remove it.
