not at all. she will start to grow out of it. it actually strengthens her diaphragm

Yeah my guy gets them almost every time he eats. I try to feed him in a somewhat sitting up position instead of laying completely flat and it seems to help

Hiccups are common in babies under a year old.
Babies even hiccup in the womb, which sometimes alarm pregnant moms but is also totally normal. Some mothers wonder how babies can hiccup in utero – after all, they're not really breathing yet. But hiccups have nothing to do with breath: They're sudden contractions of the diaphragm caused by irritation or stimulation of the muscle.
