I totally agree, a mother should have to do her part as well. Not sit at home on her ass collecting child support, child support isn't a job

Yeah that's what I think, as I told my fiances baby momma, it's child support not bitch support lol. My oldest daughter's dad has never had anything to do with her so I have never bothered, she doesn't need anything from him. My next three with my ex husband get social security disability from him, that is plenty since he is on a fixed income. They don't need to draw that off of him and get child support too. My fiance takes care of the rest plus our two and two on the way and the five he already had when we got together lol. @mariahs_mama

exactly like smh we keep the kids every weekend and holidays and even birthdays while she out partying. we never ask for shit. but she all of a sudden goes to put him on child support after 15 years smh. ok. i told him bring her to court and file for custody

I'm with you girl! My BD thinks I'm going to file just to be bitch but I don't need his money when I've got my own. If he's a man and taking good care of his child I find no need for it

I totally agree with this. My husband's ex wife has totally fucked him in child support. We have them over half the week , support them way more than she does and he is still having to pay her over $500 a month when she only has them a couple days a week and still says he doesn't pay her enough. It's ridiculous

I feel the same dam way.. Ive had alot of people tell me to get child support..Its not fair to the dads if they are doing their part why should they have to give the mom money as well .

same here people keep telling me to put him on child support im so over it im not gonna put him if he helps me with our daughter and my family told me the same they said if he helps u with everything and is responsible dont be wasting ur time putting him on child support but im just tired of hearing people say the same ishh over and over again all I do is try to ignore them now bc at least my family agrees with me and are the ones helping me even tho her dad havent even bought her a sock but we will see once shes born if she gets responsible if not I will have to do it

@nety887, my family is the ones tepling me to because none of them like him because he is very outspoken and dont let them treat him no type of way. i just tell everyone to kiss my ass and worry about them. im sure he will get better once your baby is born just give it time mama.

oh I will but we have never dated I dont really tell my story but ive gone through this only with my family they dislike him bc he couldnt be a man and stand up for what he did but its ok I dont like hating or wishing bad on anyone I wish him luck and to be happy but all I care is ab him being a good dad bc I know we will NEVER be together the good thing was that I didnt fall in love bc I would be Fked rn but hes a liar thats what he does best but I forgive him I I know I will find that man of my dreams in the future :) but thanks and im a strong Person nothing really brings me down so I would do anything

I agree with @ktwins188 It's for the father to financially contribute to the expenses paid by the mother, since she is doing it on her own.

@ktwins188, @varduim yes but he can buy all that and keep it at his house and i will have what i need for her at my house. i still that is expences a mother can do. the father needs to have all of that at his house for his child he shouldnt be supplying for both homes. qnd if she is recieving child support she really isnt doing it on her own.

@ktwins188, im not trying to down anyone who has their babys father on child support not my intention one bit. i know everyones situation is different. i was not refering to the fathers who dont help i was refering to my situation where the father is gonna be there and do what he needs to for our daughter he should not need to do everything by him and help me with us being split up.

@mariahs_mama, Yeah if the father is active & providing for the child, then I agree, he shouldn't have to pay for the mom's expenses too.

My ex husband is a dead beat. He is over 50 thousand behind in child support and my oldest is only 12 he will be 13 in dec. The only time he really sees them is when he has no place to live and moves back in with his parents. If the kids are with the mother most of the time and only sees the father every other weekend yes he should have to pay he should have to pay for half of everything just like the mother. If I did get paid I still would end up paying more then my half.

@ktwins188, i put bills in quotations cause it could be numerous amounts of things. and honestly not in every case but i see it amongst multiple people in my family alone the child support gets spent on the mother and not the child as if they feel like the father owes them for not wanting to be with them even tho the father is active in the childs life. lol but this is just my opinion on the fact your right everyone feels different. this is simply how i personally feel.

@mrugg, i can see that thats why i said fathers who are there and do what they have to for their kids. i personally dont get how a father or mother in some situations can just act like they dont have kids one minute and the next act like they mean the world to them.
