Can you request/ask to be induced if you go past your due date?

Yes you should be able to, I just had my 38 week appointment and they asked if I wanted to make an appointment to be induced.

yep, I went in past 40 weeks, and scheduled to be induced 4 days later. but thankfully my baby decided he didn't want to be forced out and my water broke that night lll
