I'm a first time mom and I think I've passed my mucus plug. My discharge was different colored this morning and as I went through my day, it was normal again. Not sure if I should worry or wait til my doctor appointment.

No, it was just yellowish and thick. Different than my normal, ya know?

snot looking thing plus tinge of blood is bloody show...
if not tinged then no need to call doc...
either way...no need to call doc, unless you're giving birth at home and need to give everybody the heads up.

Mucus plugs can regenerate. You can lose it a few times :) no need to worry unless contractions follow or there is blood in it.

I read that you can lose it up to 2 weeks before you go into labor and that it can come back.
