I sound like a horrible mom but I didn't with either. I didn't want the clothes to look worn or get like the cotton balls or anything lol but my kids weren't effected by it... Then when I gave their stuff away a large portion still had tags on it

Yes I plan on washing everything before my baby girl wears it and only with the laundry detergent for babies

Yup! If you want to be extra careful use something that has no scent

I washed just the newborn and 0-3 months. (I have bigger sizes, but figured I had time to do those later)

With my son yes using the baby detergent with my daughter I haven even started washing her clothes it's always safe to wash their clothes before they come @kartersmom
