so everyone including my boyfriend keeps pushing me to give my son a pacifier. he's only really cranky if he's somewhere he's not familiar with, sometimes during the beginning of driving somewhere (he doesn't enjoy his car seat) and his witching hour. I'm big on comfor nursing and him learning to comfort himself. I feel like I'll be a failure of I give him one now....

my hubby didn't want me to but I did, my doctor told me to wait until a month old before giving it ( I started at 2 weeks cause I got desperate) but she said if you've fed the baby, changed the diaper, and they can't comfort themselves after 5 to 10 min then your iok to give it to them. sometimes it's not what we want

I'm not giving my daughter one. I'm nursing and she's big on comfort nursing too which i dont mind but my MIL keeps pushing me to give her one. we tried one day in the car and she only took it for like 5 seconds and spit it out. don't do it if you don't want to. it's your baby

I didn't want to give my baby a paci either but did at 2 weeks because dad wanted him to have one. He still did good nursing. If you've gone this long without giving him one I wouldn't. My son is now weaned from it at 3 months.🙌
