How long usually u stay in the hospital if you have natural birth or c section ?

I had a natural birth stayed for 8 hours..my sister had a c section and stayed 48 hours xx

My mum stayed in 2 days and she only had a small tear with me :) Generally you can go as soon as they have done all the check ups on your little one and they think you are fit enough to go home :) I've heard of women leaving a few hours after giving birth :) It also depends on the time of day you give birth also :) You may stay over night :) With a Csection...probably a few days :) x

I hope to leave as soon as possible , I freak out in hospitals don't like them at all 😢

When I say a few days :) It was more like a day xD As I was born at 11:54pm on the 15th and she got discharged on the 17th :)

It's not bad , I hope I have natural birth

with my 3rd I was supposed to be having a home birth so when I had to get rushed into hospital I was adamant I was leaving asap. I had her at 2.20pm and was home by 6.30pm and hospitals a 20 min drive away 😆 I don't like hospitals either that's why I prefer home births 😆

I had a c section. But because baba had a Operation we stayed for a week x

I had a natural birth. I went into labour on the Tuesday and he was born on the Thursday so obviously that time was in hospital. I left the same day he was born thou. They wanted to keep me because i had some complications but I discharged myself because I knew that staying on a ward with people checking my obs every 2 hours and other people's crying babies etc was going to make me feel worse. I just wanted my bed. so I discharged myself and then midwives came to visit me daily until they were ready to discharge me.
