You can put Olive oil on a cotton ball and put it on it until it softens and breast feed on that side or I read on Kellysmom.com to heat a needle and poke it just be careful. I did the needle one but I had to do it 2 different times

Honestly it didnt hur I barely poked it, just keep nursing after you leave the cotton ball on there for awhile :)
