It took a while for me to figure it out, and the people in the store really had no clue about it... Check if there is a wic store by you .. It has just wic food! @karinagrace
Be sure to tell the cashier it's WIC first before they ring you up, and if you get an item not on your approved list they will charge so pay attention to the balance. It's happen to me because I'm still trying to get the hang of shopping within my WIC foods list. They have an app, maybe try that - it's supposed to be able to scan the item from the aisle and tell you right away if that product is on your list or nah.

You have to go by the list of items you can buy they are specific companies so u can't buy any item
