Went to my doctor appointment today to see if we could her the heartbeat but he said he might not since I'm only 9weeks4days. He did the whole body exam and everything then goes to do the Doppler. When he was about to turn it on he's like I'm gonna have to press a little hard and I said okay he turned the Doppler on and his facial expression was priceless!! As soon as he turned it on there was the heartbeat!! #OneofThoseWishYouHadACameraGoingThings

I honestly don't think it's that they can't find a heartbeat that early they just don't want mothers to panick incase they can't find it. they wouldn't listen to mine on a dipper till 15 weeks so that's amazing they even did that for u. I'm sure it gave you a peace of mind just to hear it tho. congrats by the way

Sometimes it is harder to find it and they mainly say it so women don't worry. At 11 weeks my doctor told me the same thing and she had to move around a little to find it. Even with my home doppler I search a bit at 17 weeks.
