🚨Very long LABOR STORY🚨 I had my beautiful baby girl October 1st at 2:09 am on Wednesday Sept 30 I had my weekly appointment at 9:20 am blood pressure was high as usual, doctor told me that they can't make any calls on inducing me & it has to be a really good reason for us to induce you, I didn't ask or mention to be induced she asked me if I ever heard of something called pre eclampsia I said yes she said you may have it then said well we'll see you at your next week appointment & then left so I was about to check out & the nurse stopped me & she said they wanted to check my blood pressure one more time they checked it again still high so she told the doctor from their they sent me down to labor & delivery to be monitored by now it's around 11am I had been having consistent contractions for almost a week now & I was already dilated to a 4 so a labor & delivery doctor finally came in (one that don't like me) she said we're going to send you home & have you do a 24 hour urine collection to check for pre eclampsia I said ok so I was waiting for them to bring my discharge papers next thing you know another labor & delivery doctor came in & he asked me how do I feel about having a baby I said idk I was confused because I didn't know where he was going with this conversation, he said well you better get ready because your having this baby today we're going to induce your labor because your blood pressure is kind of scaring us I was like omg so many emotions flooded through me because I was there by myself & my bf was at school which is 30-40 minutes away so around 12pm they took me to a labor room & started me on pitocin to make the contractions stronger to get me dilated more around 3:30 or 4 pm they checked my cervix I was dilated to a 5 & at that time the doctor asked me if I wanted the epidural now I said No not yet now its 5:30pm going on 6 I went ahead and asked for the epidural then around 6:30 pm the doctor told me he was going to try & break my water then he said you know what we're going to wait a lil while longer, so I'm waiting I'm feeling some contractions but they're not real bad that Damn epidural only numbed the left side of my body & they never brought my epidural button for pain medicine til 9pm so I was feeling all of the contractions on my right side for 2 hours & the epidural doctor came in & saw me & asked where my button was at I said they never brought it they said they we're looking for one she had a nurse find me one right away she said no wonder why your in so much pain I'm like no shit so she also gave me some Fentanyl so by now I'm agitated & frustrated so it's now 10:45 going on 11pm the doctors came in and checked my cervix & I was dilated to a 6 so she told me let me know when you start feeling alot of pressure & feel like you need to push I said ok so around 11:30 pm the contractions started to get so intense but I was breathing through them taking it, epidural medicine didn't help with nothing so around 12 midnight I finally gave in & called my doctor & told her I was feeling alot of pressure & I need to push so she came in checked me I was still only dilated to a 6 so they checked my bp it was extremely higher she said we're going to break your water so as she was breaking my water it all went terribly bad from there & everything happened so fast😞 so next thing you know about 4 other doctors run in the room & they're all talking & moving so fast they flipped me to my left side then to my right side then they had me get on all 4's & that's when they put a oxygen mask on me & told me to breathe through this it'll help you & get oxygen to the baby I had no clue what was going on or what was happening all I heard was get her onto the bed so we can move her to the operating room so we can do an emergency C section so they rushed me to the OR & I heard the doctor tell my bf no you stay here dad you can't be in the operating room the room was spending & everything was happening so fast their were about 15 doctors in the room all talking to me at once then I heard one doctor ask do we have time to put her to sleep & then she kept asking over and over again then she said it'll take no longer than 2 minutes then the other doctor screamed no there's no time then I seen her start tying up her hair really fast and putting her face mask on then they put this sheet over my face then the doctors were telling me they were numbing me & if I felt anything then I heard her say I'm making the incision then they said your about to feel a whole bunch of tugging & pulling & omg it was the most traumatic experience I've ever had I remember screaming somebody help me then I heard my baby girl cry & then I blacked out I woke up doctors all around me doing stuff to me something went wrong I didn't even get to hold my baby girl or see her because they were still operating on me for 3 hours I kept going in & out of unconsciousness finally around 2pm the next day I got to take a glance of my baby girl for the first time I could barely open my eyes and look at her because I was so out of it but I just knew she was the most precious thing I ever layed eyes on, around 6pm I finally held her for the first time MOST AMAZING MOMENT EVER, my recovery wasn't going how it was supposed to go so many things went wrong with my induction & my emergency C Section, I ended up staying 7 days in the hospital but it was all worth it I'm so in love with her... Sorry for all the details😌
