If you got a breast pump from the WIC office people, when did they give it to you? My next appointment is the 20-something of this month and I'll be 32-33 weeks pregnant. And so far the only thing I'm freaking out about not having yet is a pump!

They usually give it after you've had the baby, but will sometimes give it to you before. It also depends on if you get a hand pump or electric

they gave me a hand pump after I had her because I told them I had a problem with oversupply. they said they'll give me an electric at my 3 month appointment so we'll see

@bria.k @ce5ce I'm really hoping I get an electronic one. If not I guess I'll just have to buy one myself even though they're crazy expensive. The lactation specialist was on vacation at my last appointment. So hopefully she's back to I can talk to her.

most insurance here in NY will cover an electric breast pump.

@cbhall I have Medicaid and they don't cover pumps in NC
