Question mommies; Do you get anymore ultrasounds after you are 30 weeks? All my doctor has been…

They didn't for me. I was told they won't unless they feel it's needed like something being wrong. I got more because i ended up being high risk. I think I had 4 during pregnancy other than high risk appts.

First ultrasounds are off by 20% either way on average. You should probably get an ultrasound around 35 weeks. But it's all dependent on your doctor

But how do they know something isn't wrong if their not checking on the baby? Like how would they even know any things wrong without doing an ultrasound? I don't even know how much my baby weighs..

I'm 33 weeks & have only had 3 at my regular OB. They told me I won't get another one unless something goes wrong. So I'm going to a 3d/4d place to get one last one done!

Like if you're in pain or haven't felt the baby move and stuff. I agree I feel like we should get them whenever we want. But like she said up there, depends on Doctor and insurance.

Yes I think they should do them atleast every couple weeks just to check on the baby! But thank you! @youngb

Have you requested one? Sometimes you get lucky and they will. Hopefully they will closer to the end of the pregnancy!

I think they will. I had one at 30w and then today at 35w. The tech told me they only measure every 4w tho so usually after 35/36ws they won't do another one unless you go well over 40w, and then it's just checking fluid. 😕 @belleandeli
