okay so really worried went to my ob appt today and got my cervix checked i am a half cm dilated and 40% effaced. but now when i whip there is blood. i havent expierienced any type of bleeding or spotting at all and im really scared and now my babys father isnt answering me so im kinda freaking out anyone know what it is.

Any bleeding you should definitely go in!

My doctor told me light bleeding and spotting after getting your cervix checked is normal.

@mariahs_mama, My OB told me if there was any blood to go in. But ya calling the nurse line at the hospital or your OB would be a good idea!

That's most likely the reason, especially if you haven't bled or spotted before. As long as you're not getting a period like gush you should be okay. But if you're worried call your ob to put yourself at ease.

I got checked and had light bleeding , they said its normal long as it's not periods type of bleeding. But if you are worried go in and get checked to give your self a lil relief. @mariahs_mama

I've spotted both times I have been checked. My doctor says sometimes that happens. It stopped by the next day. Just make sure it's not heavy bleeding.
