Dose anyone kno when u have a planned C section can u pick the date or do u have to wait till…

I like when you have a planned c section it's for a medical reason which usually prevents you from reaching 40 weeks, and the doctor chooses the date that seems the latest and yet still safest...but i don't know for sure for sure lol

I believe it's up to/dependent on your doctor.

Typically doctors won't do it unless there's a medical reason.

My doctor picked the date and I was 37 weeks. lol but that was 14 years ago so It might have changed :)

My doctor picked the date. I was 36 weeks. It was un healthy for him to stay in any longer. So she picked the first day she could do it and picked the 26th of December. With this one I can't reach 40 weeks. They can't reach me going into labor. She will be picking the date again for this one.

I'm having a planned csection also with my last one. for both they were done at 39 wks. if u ask ur doctor they will let u know what days of the week the schedule for. in my case they didn't schedule on Sat and Sun. now if u go into labor and they have to do the csection then they'll do it of course.
