Get the doctor to prescribe him the eczema cream .. That's what I did and it's working wonders for my son

@mumof2 yeah the California baby i use is supposed to be good for eczema but its more like a lotion? but.really hard to rub in it seems. i used baby oil last nite with aloe vera after his bath while still damp and i think it made it worse overnight

yeah just feels like a battle.sometimes..we changed to ALL free and clear detergent and use dove for baths guess just trial and error on what works for his skin. i will have to.try the aquaphor and skinfix esp if neither have oatmeal that seems to make it worse.

yeah the soap and detergent can be harsh for skin so id switch them to something more milder what she said ^ you cant just use lotion

@melisssa I'll look into it!. i bought California Baby bc everyone raves about it but its still here and getting worse. Vaseline is the only think ive found that works halfway decent but if its thick like vaseline maybe works?

Use dove bar soap unscented when giving him a bath. My son had a really bad eczema when he was born and his doctor told me to use the Dove soap and he hasn't had a break out since we switched

Skinfix.com this stuff is amazing. I grew up using aveeno due to allergies, eczema, and sensitive skin but when I was 4 months pregnant I found this skinfix stuff at target and it's honestly like magic. I could see results within a week. They make thicker Vaseline-like hand creme, body lotion, acne treatment etc. it's really amazing I would check it out!

try aveeno eczema lotion its very good and it helped my son
