I need HELP! I have my postpartum follow up appt with the doc today regarding birth control...I've never been good with birth control due to hormonal changes ... has anyone tried the hormone free COPPER IUD?? it stays in 5 years and supposedly males your period cramps worse. ..anyone have experience with it?

I don't have experience with those but I used the Nuva Ring and LOVED it!!! My periods have always been way off either bleeding too much or not at all for a while and when I was on it my periods were so regular I knew exactly when I was gonna start and when I was gonna stop! It was great!!!

And they only lasted about 3-4 days

I got the paraguard a few years ago. It made your period really heavy for a few months (hormone free), but other than that it was great. I will probably get it again.
