postpartum bleeding. what's to much when so I need to get to the er

I'm not sure because I don't have pads I'm using a newborn diaper until tomorrow when I can buy some.

I'm 2 weeks postpartum. I hadn't bled in 2 days then I had some clots now it's just coming in gushes. it's bright red with a little dark red.

if you have clots bigger than an egg, go to the er. I haven't bleed in three weeks and I'm five weeks post partum

i bled up til 6w pp. the gushing part I'd call l&d or ER and ask because that seems kind of worrisome. but after 2w mine got bright. were you over active today? that can make it start and/or change the cookie

Because breastfeeding causes your cervix to contract and shrink faster than if you weren't breastfeeding
