One of the most common mistakes these Internet "experts" make is citing corollary "statistics" and accepting that as fact. Just because you see a higher rate of occurrence (let's say "obesity" just as an example), in one population (individuals who were formula fed as infants), doesn't prove causation- only correlation. This is the frustration of all scientists seeking to establish theory. Just because you see a common trend, doesn't prove cause and effect- these are the basics of research and the scientific method. You may have read a very convincing blog post online, but those "facts" you're sharing are actually your opinions, and ones you might one to keep to yourself lest you get schooled by someone who actually knows what they're talking about.
