Is it selfish to think of adoption?

I think adoption is one of the most selfless acts actually. Do whatever you think is right for that baby and yourself

no it's not. there's all types of adoptions. open/close...... it's totally up to you..... you're a brave but awesome woman either way!

Its not selfish at all!! You do what you think is best for your baby AND you get to bless a family that isn't fortunate enough to have their own children.

I applaud you for considering it because a lot of woman would just abort or not care, very strong 💪 woman you have become

I'm adopted. It would have been selfish for my birth mom to NOT consider it (I lobe her dearly by the way)...Do what YOU feel is best. It is YOUR decision. 💖

but I will say this God doesn't make mistakes and whatever he has planned for your life it will work out not bc I said so but bc he said so. he will never put more on you than you can bare

@momofroyalty, Would you do it if you had no other choice? I think it's going to be hard to let her go

if I thought for a fact there was no way I could provide for that child and I mean absolutely no way than yes but if I knew that God was a mighty God and there were so many programs out there that would help me than no. is it going to be easy not at all but will he be there every step of the way.

@momofroyalty love it, so true. @emteebee it's not an easy decision. I remember I looked into it 23 years ago with my first even picked out parents, but when she finally arrived I just couldn't go through it. Now my baby is about to graduate from college in December. momofroyalty said it best...God makes no mistakes

I really needed that. It's just that I have essentials for her. She's good on everything but diapers and bottles. it's just that I don't have a permanent home. My due date is in 5 weeks and I may not have a place to go. I live in Minnesota and it's cold here already. I can't drag her along with me. And I don't have a car either. I'm just so stressed. I've prayed and I hope He can help me @momofroyalty

@emteebee smh.. I'm sure u have a good enough reason, and maybe keep it an open adoption were you get pictures and can send her gifts

@blessedw7, Smh is right. I'll be okay hopefully. I was in foster care (never adopted) and turned out okay. You must have family or some form of support. I do not. it's just me, my doctor, and like one friend who's away in Germany and communication is hard. (he's in the army).

@momofroyalty, That's all I need. I know my hormones are making it WAY worse but omg, it feels like the sky is falling. My landlord is lowdown and I hope she gets hers one day. She finds excitement in ppls pain and it's sickening. @momofroyalty
