I'm definitely pro-breastfeeding but definitely not anti-formula feeding. I strongly dislike the women who bring down mama's who choose formula.

Either way the mom shaming needs to stop

I personally think that more moms do need to breast feed...I'm not saying that you're not a good mom if you don't I'm not saying that the child is better if you don't I'm just saying it is BETTER THAN FORMULA and the benefits ARE BETTER but if u choose to not do it then oh well but breast is best it's a fact and more women should at least try because that's what nature intended

Some of us are in a situation that we have no choice though. I can't breastfeed due to an immune disorder. The breast milk would be harmful to the baby. I feel like every time I formula feed in public I will be judged. You never know the type of situation a mom might be in.

Like most I agree breast is best however I do not look down on any mom who decides to formula feed. I could not breastfeed my son... I tried... As I will with this one. However it just didn't work. I thank God they have an alternative to feeding babies if you can't breastfeed. But as far as the person commenting on we need more moms who breastfeed I agree. I know a lot of people who decided to formula feed because the thought of their child feeding off of their boob disgusted them...

Study's have proven it for years and years I'm not saying that a parent should feel bad about not doing it but facts are facts & I've witnessed personally and there are so many benefits for mom and baby that it should at least be tried but it is what it is, u do what works for you! Just don't knock something that u haven't tried , don't get upset because someone's opinion differ from your own because actual fact is if more moms breastfed the country wouldn't be in debt like it is...if more moms breastfed then WIC wouldn't supply most of the milk u need To feed your child & have you ever read the ingredients in formula ??? That's neither here nor there just voicing my opinion because it's a touchy subject for me

When people say more women should breastfeed they are not taking a shot at the mothers who for some reason physically can not nurse her baby but facts are facts and Breast milk is the best milk for children for their digestive systems, for their brains, for the health of the mother as well. Every mother has their reasons for breastfeeding and for not some just need to be honest with themselves as to why they chose NOT to breastfeed when the reason is other than medical. Kind of like how #BlackLivesMatter is not an attempt to negate the fact that ALL lives matter. Just because Breast Is Best that's not to say that those who formula feed are bad We are all mothers whose goal is to keep our babies happy and healthy and we will all go about that using different methods that can possibly yield the same result. Moms don't beat yourself up if you can't breastfeed but you should reevaluate if you REFUSE to do so. Ultimately as long as you happy with your decision nothing else matters 😊

@royce_ivy I'm not intending to disagree with anything. You're completely right ad fast as its best to formula feed but I don't agree that the child is smarter. I've never heard of that and as I said I'd have to read into that. I find it hard to believe

There's lots of info available relating to benefits of breastfeeding including that regarding intelligence not to say that you can compare infant to infant the benefits are long term so they may not be measurable until later in life
