My son won't eat anything , he was latching on my breast just well then out of no where he just…

How long has he not been eating? How much has he been eating in a day? Are you at home or in the hospital still? Has he lost any weight?

I'm in the hospital , he only ate for like 10 mins today . . yesterday he was doing great until the night time. they just keep checking his sugar I mean he's pooping and peeing good but idk why he's not eating.

if you're planning to breastfeed I do not suggest you use formula, bottle, or pacifier at all. he's not very old so it's not life threatening. I'd speak to a lactation consultant asap. keep trying the breast. do lots of skin to skin.

Yes don't freak out about weight loss unless its significant. I agree. If you're planning on breastfeeding, avoid formula and supplementing as it can have a major effect on your supply. Keep putting him to the breast as he seems hungry and request a lactation consultant ASAP. You've both been through a lot in the last couple days so I wouldn't be too concerned yet ❤️

the lactation nurse gave me nipple shield but he's hardly even using that 😭

my daughter did the same thing when we were in the hospital after I had her. I consulted a lactation consultant she helped and once we got home she did sooooo much better. has your baby had a sponge bath yet.?
