I legit lost my mind and had a nervous breakdown over this! He's actually a very responsible guy, so the fact that I felt like he wasn't stepping up was really getting to me! Girl, you gotta let them know how bad they're doing!

I have and all he cares about is if I know the sex of the baby if I tell him the the how the baby's heart beat was all I get back is "great" or "cool" and I tell him my doctors appointments so he can either come with or talk to my doc and he eve. tried moving out of town without me knowing (witch doesn't bother me ) but u would think he would say something and I've asked if he's going to help and all I get back is "what do you mean" @lilymama

Sometimes it takes them a while to actually come to terms with it. I was past my 20 weeks when my BD started to take an interest in the baby. And up until a few weeks ago that he started buying things for her. So maybe he'll come around. Try not to stress about it. Your baby has you! And that's all he/she needs! Shame on him if he doesn't come around.

u would think he would be there more cuz this is his first baby but I hope he does come around and I'll try not to stress @lilymama

Maybe he's super stressed out and scared over the responsibility he now has and this is his immature way of coping.

He needs to act like he wants the baby to have his last name. Tell him you understand he may be overwhelmed right now, but that this baby is going to need his support not just financially but also emotionally. He obviously cares about the baby if he hasn't completely disappeared and is saying he wants the baby to have his last name.

I'm the one that has to message him to keep him updated other then that he won't talk to me @lilymama

Give it a week or two with out reaching out. Maybe that's what he needs?

You still have weeks to think about the whole last name thing. Ultimately do what ever you think is best. Lots of things can change from here to the day you give birth. When the time comes you'll know what feels right. Just know you can't change someone, and you can't control what they do or don't do. But you can control how it affects you. Stay positive!

that's what scares me I wanna know how big my little nugget is cuz this is as big as I am and I'm 29 weeks and 4 days but when I lay down my tummy goes flat @lilymama
