Ok mommies so question... My husbands best friend is a woman who I've never liked. She's offered us a brand new crib that she received door her daughter and never opened or used. I told my husband that I would graciously accept it on behalf of our child. I still don't like her AT ALL but as a woman and a wife and a mom... Would you ladies thank her upon receiving the crib?

If you're going to accept it. Yes I would say thank you. My pride wouldn't let me take it personally not from someone I don't like or care for

I think if she offered and you need it, then great take it. But, what are your reasons for disliking her so much? Based on how serious that is, I may not accept it.

I just don't like the way that she always needed saving and to the rescue would be none other than my then boyfriend... She's just not a great person that I want in mine or my family's life... She need to get her shit together

@simplyfirstbaby, i would accept it under certain circumstances, if she was a suspect, to me she wouldnt offer but then again if i didnt like her then i might just say forget it lol. tough one @shortiebs im curious about that also. if you dont mind sharing ... what makes her so bad anyway ??!

Yea cus if she wants him she may be nice to you out of guilt. Or offering you something so she has it to throw in your face. It really depends if there is any attraction or if there ever was @soontobehermommy i dont trust girls lol

@shortiebs, lol i feel you but if she trusts him thats all that matters in the end. she could be offering it to get him to tthink higher of her , as if she truly cares so i get you. but my hubby wont have a female friend not because im insecure or dont trust him but because im crazy and eventually she wont want to be friends anymore lol but idk . i cant really say bcuz im not in the situation. everyone is different

like my hubby would not accept anything from a guy friend that i have that he doesnt like and i know he doesnt like him for whatever reason. but we really dont have seperate friends , only mutual .

@shortiebs, yea they hang out but always with her kids cuz he's the godfather of the oldest... She's afraid of me so no we don't hang out

Well my husband is so much bigger than me, he handles my past like a pro and has even met more than one ex cuz Boston is small... Tbh I don't wanna seem petty cuz he's been mine for 5 years faithfully and putting up with my crazy... It means a lot to him that she's giving us such a big ticket item
